(VIDEO): A/R: Invisible Forces disrupt NPP meeting, chase Akoto Osei
A group of well-built men suspected to be members of the pro-NPP vigilante group, Invisible Forces, on Sunday, 7 October 2018, disrupted a constituency meeting between the Member of Parliament for Tafo-Pankrono in the Ashanti Region, Dr Anthony Akoto Osei and some party officials.
The aggrieved young men chased out the lawmaker for failing to fulfil promises made to them ahead of the 2016 elections.
The young men riding on motorbikes destroyed chairs arranged for the meeting while the Monitoring and Evaluation Minister took to his heels.
The macho men who stormed the meeting indicated that the MP made several promises and has failed to fulfil them after they were used to protect ballot boxes during the 2016 general elections.
They indicated that the lawmaker no longer picks their calls irrespective of the promises.
They said they are jobless and could barely make ends meet.
The young men noted that they stormed the meeting to express their anger for the failed promises made to them.
