Thomas Partey makes injury return in Arsenal first win of the campaign
Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey made an injury return in Arsenal 1-0 win against Norwich in the English Premier League on Saturday.
The midfielder appeared as a second-half substitute in the 1-0 win at the Emirates Stadium to end the run of three games without a win in the League.
Partey has been out since the start of August after injuring his ankle in a pre-season friendly against Chelsea.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the only goal of the for Arsenal in the 66 minutes, with a finish from almost on the goal-line after Canaries’ keeper Tim Krul turned Nicolas Pepe’s effort.
Partey’s return is a big boost for Mikel Arteta who considers the Ghanaian midfielder as a key member of his team.
