Ghanaian music star, Stonebwoy, is set to play a significant cultural role at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025, securing a double presence on the continent’s biggest football stage, both musically and on the live performance front.
The award-winning artiste has been officially confirmed as part of the AFCON 2025 Fan Zones lineup, sharing the spotlight with some of Africa and the world’s biggest names, including Davido and French Montana. An official CAF AFCON 2025 Fan Zones Line-Up poster lists Stonebwoy among headline performers scheduled to thrill fans across several host cities in Morocco.
The Fan Zones, which are set to run alongside the tournament, will feature live performances, cultural showcases and match screenings in cities such as Rabat, Casablanca, Agadir, Marrakech, Fès and Tangier, turning the football fiesta into a full-blown celebration of African music and culture.
But Stonebwoy’s involvement in AFCON 2025 doesn’t stop there.
The Ghanaian hitmaker has also been featured on the tournament’s official anthem, titled RISE UP AFRICA. The song, commissioned by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), brings together a carefully selected group of African artistes to capture the spirit of unity, pride and passion that defines the Africa Cup of Nations.
