South Africa journalist sacked after endorses Shatta Wale

Ghanaian Journalist living in South Africa Ogyem Solomon, popularly Known as “OGYAM”  who hosts biggest political programme on South Africa based- Press Radio in the largest city Johannesburg has been given one week suspension after endorsed Ghanaian Dance Hall Artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr. popularly known as “SHATTA WALE” on his political show.

OGYAM made the endorsement on his political show today before starting the program and also tweeted on the station official twitter page “Press Radio”.

It is unclear what led to his suspension after the endorsement but source says OGYAM has been warned on several occasion not to use the station’s official facebook page for his personal gains.

“We are not against Shatta Wale as a person or anything about him but we will not entertain anybody who will use the official pages of the station such us facebook, twitter or the website www. thepressradio.com for his personal agenda. We welcome every Artist but should be in the interest of the station or the website not individual” One of the Managers disclosed on the condition of anonymity.
