Rapper Agbeko’s Rehabilitation Efforts Begin Amid Confusion Over Admission Status

Ghanaian rapper Agbeko has taken initial steps toward rehabilitation following public concern about his struggles with substance use and unstable living conditions. The move follows widespread attention after fellow artiste Edem publicly committed to helping him receive professional care.
According to earlier reports, Agbeko was expected to begin treatment at the Pantang Hospital, with Edem reportedly arranging and offering to cover the cost of the programme. Edem revealed that he spent hours with the rapper before heading to the facility to secure his admission.
However, updated accounts indicate that Agbeko did not fully commit to entering the rehabilitation programme, despite accepting support earlier in the day. Edem later shared that although significant effort was made to get him registered, Agbeko declined at the final stage.
Agbeko has recently spoken openly about his personal challenges, including addiction and periods of homelessness, stressing that he genuinely wants help but faces difficulties maintaining long-term support structures after treatment.
His team, fans, and sections of the entertainment industry continue to express hope that he will eventually complete a structured rehabilitation plan and return stronger.
