Police Arrest Two Suspects Over Murder and Robbery in Aduman

The Ghana Police Service has arrested two men in connection with a murder and robbery incident that occurred in Aduman, in the Ashanti Region.
The suspects, identified as Sani Abacha, aged 28, and Asante Eric, aged 23, are alleged to have attacked two young men and robbed them of a tricycle, commonly known as a “kante”. The brutal attack reportedly led to the death of one of the victims.
Police sources confirmed that the suspects were tracked and arrested following intelligence-led operations in the area. They are currently in custody assisting with investigations.
According to law enforcement officials, the arrests form part of a broader crackdown on violent crimes and robbery syndicates operating in parts of the Ashanti Region. The police have assured residents that they remain committed to ensuring safety and bringing perpetrators of such crimes to justice.
Residents of Aduman have expressed fear and frustration over the rising number of robberies in the area and have appealed for increased police patrols and security presence.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at a nearby hospital morgue for autopsy, while investigations continue to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
