Orlando Pirates join race for Kotoko’s Yacouba
South African giants Orlando Pirates are said to be interested in Asante Kotoko’s Burkinabe import Sogne Yacouba.
The Stallions striker has caught the eyes of several teams on the African continent including Al Hilal, TP Mazembe, CS Sfaxien and Pirates are the latest to join his long list of suitors.
Sogne was one of the stars of Kotoko’s Confederations Cup Campaign in which he netted two goals and provided five assists as the Porcupine Warriors bundled out in the Group stages.
According to close sources from South Africa, Pirates are lining up a bid for Yacouba and they could sign him in the 2019 summer transfer window.
