MP Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimiah Pays Courtesy Call on Mudor Kope After 2024 Elections

The Member of Parliament for the Salaga South Constituency, Hon. Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimiah, has paid a courtesy call on the people of Mudor Kope following the 2024 general election, to thank residents for their support and reaffirm her commitment to development in the community.
Addressing residents during the visit, Hon. Zuwera emphasized that national development is meant for all citizens, stressing that participation in elections remains a crucial civic responsibility. She commended the people of Mudor Kope for their massive support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), describing the community as one that delivered a significant margin of victory for the party.
The MP assured residents that the NDC, now in government, has not become complacent following its electoral victory. According to her, the party remains vigilant and fully committed to delivering on its promises to the Ghanaian people. She further stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would remain in opposition for a long time.
Hon. Zuwera explained that it is the desire of the NDC that the NPP does not return to power, citing past experiences where communities perceived as NDC strongholds were allegedly neglected when the NPP was in government. She noted that such communities are sometimes denied development projects based on their voting patterns, a situation she described as unfair and unjust.
She further stressed that Mudor Kope is widely recognized as an NDC stronghold, a fact she said is evident in national election results over the years. The MP assured residents that the party acknowledges their loyalty and overwhelming support.
Hon. Zuwera concluded by reaffirming the NDC’s commitment to working diligently to ensure that Mudor Kope benefits meaningfully from the trust and confidence the community has consistently placed in the party.
