The Member of Parliament for Salaga South Constituency, Hon. Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimiah, has officially commissioned a newly constructed public toilet facility at Makango, aimed at improving sanitation and hygiene for the local community.

Speaking to the media during the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Zuwera expressed gratitude, saying that, “by the grace of Allah, the facility has been completed to serve the people of Makango and enhance their quality of life.”

She explained that she typically does not favor elaborate ceremonies and initially assumed the facility was already in use. Upon discovering that it had not yet been formally opened for public use, she decided to commission it officially so that residents could begin benefiting from it immediately.

The commissioning of the facility is part of broader efforts by Hon. Zuwera to promote public health, improve hygiene, and strengthen basic social infrastructure within the Salaga South Constituency. The new facility is expected to play a key role in ensuring cleaner and healthier living conditions for the people of Makango.
