MP Hajia Zuwera Donates Motorbikes to Boost NDC Reorganization in Salaga South

In a bid to strengthen party operations at the grassroots level, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, the Member of Parliament for Salaga South Constituency, donated three motorbikes to the Constituency Election Directorate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Monday, 9th February 2026.
The handover ceremony, held at the NDC Party Office in Salaga, marks part of the MP’s commitment to enhancing the efficiency and mobility of party officials during the ongoing reorganization of the constituency’s party structures. The motorbikes are expected to improve coordination, facilitate supervision of activities, and ensure that electoral and organizational duties are carried out effectively across the constituency.
Addressing attendees, Hon. Hajia Zuwera emphasized the importance of a well-organized party structure in achieving electoral success. She noted that transportation remains a major logistical challenge, especially in constituencies with widely dispersed communities. “This donation is meant to empower the Election Directorate to execute its mandate efficiently as we prepare for upcoming political engagements,” she said.
The MP also reiterated her dedication to supporting party initiatives and called on members to remain united and focused on building robust internal structures to position the NDC for victory in future elections.
Speaking on behalf of the Directorate, Mr. Tanko Yakubu, the Constituency Election Director, expressed gratitude to Hon. Zuwera for her ongoing support. He assured that the motorbikes would be used strategically to strengthen the party’s reorganization efforts.
Other beneficiaries of the donation included Mr. Mustapha Tawfic and Alhaji Dramani Abudu, while dignitaries present at the ceremony included Constituency Chairman Mr. Haruna Abdul Aziz, the MP’s Special Advisor Ing. Abdul Nasser Adam, as well as other constituency executives and staff from the Office of the Member of Parliament.
The donation has been widely welcomed by party officials, who described it as timely and instrumental in enhancing the operational capacity of the Election Directorate, particularly as the NDC works to consolidate its presence and effectiveness at the grassroots level in Salaga South.
