Moscow to Host First World Public Assembly Dedicated to International Day of Peace

On September 20–21, 2025, Moscow will welcome delegates from across the globe for the First World Public Assembly (WPA), an international humanitarian forum organized by the World Peoples Assembly in honor of the International Day of Peace. The event will take place at the prestigious World Trade Center in the heart of the Russian capital.

The WPA aims to serve as a major global communication platform, bringing together leaders in public diplomacy, civil society representatives, cultural and scientific communities, humanitarian organizations, and international initiatives from over 140 countries.

A Diverse and Insightful Program

The forum’s business program will feature a Plenary Session, seven panel sessions, and more than 40 thematic platforms covering key areas such as:

  • Strategic Partnership and Public Diplomacy

  • Humanitarian Modernization: Man as the Center of the Future

  • New World Values

  • Spiritual and Cultural Unity and Service to Values

  • Responsibility as the Basis of the Future

Complementing the main agenda will be a series of special events designed to encourage professional exchange and cultural dialogue, including:

  • International Media Forum – “Media in Service to Humanity”

  • Youth Forum – “Generation of Unity”

  • International Public Forum – “The Victor-Countries: Lesson of World War II and Responsibility for Peace”

  • Congress of the World Organization of Writers (WOW)

Honoring Humanitarian Values

Special emphasis will be placed on initiatives that promote trust, humanism, and service to society. Key highlights include:

  • Final of the International Contest “Leaders of Public Diplomacy”

  • Awarding Ceremony for the “Trust and Unity” Grants Contest, supporting the implementation of international humanitarian projects

One of the most anticipated moments of the assembly will be the presentation of the World Public Recognition Award “For Service to Humanity”, honoring individuals and organizations for their exceptional contributions to strengthening peace, trust, humanitarian cooperation, and global unity.
