The Tutu family has left St George’s Cathedral.
The family had a private memorial service for the Arch.
Tutu’s wife, Mama Leah, was seen leaving the cathedral. The viewing of Tutu’s body will be open to the public.

Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu’s casket has arrived at St George’s Cathedral.
Tutu’s casket was as simple as he wanted it to be with no extravagance. Anglican clergies came as pallbearers for the Arch.
The Tutu family had also arrived. A private service for the family will now be held.

The family of Archbishop emeritus Desmond Tutu has arrived at St George’s Cathedral.
Tutu’s body will be laying in state for the next two days in the run up to his official funeral on Saturday.
The Tutu family held a brief moment inside the church while awaiting for Tutu’s remains. The family was too emotional to come out of the cathedral.

Clergies from the Anglican Church have gathered outside the cathedral. Some of the clergies have been asked to be pallbearers, while others are serving on the committee planning Tutu’s funeral.
