Lamborghini’s 30-Metre, 7,900 HP Super Yacht Enters Crucial Construction Phase

Lamborghini’s bold promise of a revolutionary 30-metre yacht is finally becoming reality. The Italian Sea Group has released the first official image of the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT under construction, marking the entry into the highly anticipated outfitting phase—the stage where engineering, design, and luxury elements begin to take physical form.

Alongside the image comes a major revelation: the yacht’s power output has been officially increased to 7,900 horsepower, surpassing the originally announced 7,600 hp at its world premiere.

A Project Progressing at Full Speed

The development of the 101FT has advanced steadily month after month. In September, Lamborghini showcased the yacht at the Monaco Yacht Show—a 30-metre masterpiece inspired by the hypercar Fenomeno and powered by three MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines. By October, the first unit had already been sold to an anonymous collector.

Now, in November, the project has entered its most critical stage. The newly released image reveals a massive, sculpted hull ready to be equipped with the advanced technologies that will define Lamborghini’s presence on water.

Gianmaria Costantino, Chief Commercial Officer of The Italian Sea Group, describes this moment as the point where “the vision takes shape” and the concept becomes reality through meticulous engineering and detailed craftsmanship.

Where Design Becomes Reality

During outfitting, every major component is installed:

  • The three V16 engines

  • Full electronic and navigation systems

  • Cabins and cockpit inspired by Lamborghini’s Temerario design language

  • Front and rear lighting directly derived from Lamborghini models

  • Interior finishes featuring Y-shaped and hexagonal patterns

  • Custom paints and materials from the Ad Personam personalization program

This is the stage when the raw structure transforms into a true Lamborghini—only this time, built for the sea.

A New Flagship That Expands the Lamborghini DNA

The 101FT is not a standalone project. It builds on the success of the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, the model that launched the brand’s nautical venture in 2020. While the 63 introduced Lamborghini’s design language to the yachting world, the 101FT pushes it to an entirely new scale.

The Power Debate: 7,600, 7,800, or 7,900 HP?

At its premiere, Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group announced 7,600 hp—an odd figure given the three 2,600 hp engines onboard, which total 7,800 hp.

Now, official documents list a firm 7,900 hp, representing:

  • +300 hp compared to the first announcement

  • +100 hp above the theoretical sum of its engines

Whether due to calibration changes or technical updates remains unknown, but the outcome is clear: the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT is now certified as a 7,900-horsepower marvel.

Patience Before the First Voyage

Built from aluminum and carbon fiber, measuring 30 metres, reaching speeds up to 45 knots, and offering accommodation for nine guests and crew across three cabins, the 101FT is poised to become a true Lamborghini of the seas.

The first unit is scheduled for delivery in 2027, and as construction progresses, every new photo and update is expected to generate global excitement.
