The Ghana Football Association has referred three coaches to the Disciplinary Committee of the FA for various officiating comments against referees.

Asante Kotoko Coach, Maxwell Konadu, has been hauled to face the committee for comments he made against Referee Daniel Laryea.

Konadu questioned the referee’s decision to award Berekum Chelsea a late free kick in his side’s 1-1 drawn game at the Golden City Park on Sunday in Berekum.

Inter Allies FC head Coach, Henrik Lehm, has also been referred to the Disciplinary Committee over comments made against referee Ibrahim Abdulai and his assistants when Karela United hosted Inter Allies on Sunday.

Karela United won the game through a Diawisie Taylor penalty at the CAM Park.

Ebusua Dwarfs Coach, Ernest Thompson, is the third coach to be summoned before the GFA Disciplinary Committee for comments made against Referee Joshua Samadji.

Thompson at the post-match presser questioned the referee’s neutrality for consistently whistling against his side in their 2-0 defeat to Eleven Wonders at the Ohene Ameyaw Park on Friday, November 20, 2020.

The GFA has urged clubs and coaches to use the communicated channel of complaints to address their officiating grievances 48 hours after the games and stop criticizing match officials publicly.
