I prefer to be interactive with people not stuck in the office – John Mahama
Flagbearer hopeful of the largest opposition, John Dramani Mahama, has said that he is more interested in being interactive with citizens rather than doing just paperwork.
John Mahama, in a post on Social Media, stated that he prefers to be on grounds working directly with Ghanaians by being inclusive and cooperative.
According to him, it is something “which I love to do, instead of getting stuck in the office” adding that the only time he may probably meet with party officials will be within a two-week interval
Former president John Mahama declared his interest in leading the NDC in the 2020 elections and has since been involved in various campaigns to win back the heart of Ghanaians.
He joins a stiff competition from other party stalwarts who have all declared their interest in leading the party.
The polls, which is expected to take place tomorrow, has Professor Joshua Alabi, Dr. Ekow Spio-Garbrah, Alban Bagbin, Goosie Tanoh, and Sylvester Mensah all on the ballot.
Mahama’s tweet read: “I would like to spend more time in the field and interact with the people, which I love to do, instead of getting stuck in the office. I may have to probably spend some time in the party office every two weeks to further interact with party officials. #JohnMahama”
