Tanzanian promoter who caused the arrest of Kizz Daniel has opened up about why the Nigerian musician failed to perform at a show he was booked for.

According to Stephen Uwa, Kizz Daniel indicated that he did not have his gold chain on so he would not perform.

He indicated that regardless of pleas made to the Buga crooner, he refused to perform because the airline he brought did not bring the bag that had the gold chain.

Uwa said he booked Kizz Daniel through his manager, one Paul I, and paid him $60,000.

He said even though Paul begged Kizz Daniel to make an appearance because he had been booked and paid, the musician refused and insisted that he can’t perform without his gold chain.

Stephen Uwa said he knelt down to beg reminding the musician that he is trying to build a company and needs the people to trust him but that didn’t even move kizz Daniel who was unconcerned about the show but was concerned about his gold chain.

“He (Kizz Daniel) only said the airline didn’t bring his bag that is why he cannot perform. Because his gold chain is not there. And he had a gold chain on his neck. He wanted everything,” Uwa said.

“Paul O is the one I booked Kizz from. Paul O cried all night trying to beg this guy ‘Please go to this show’,” Uwa said.

“Three times, I knelt for Kizz Daniel and I begged him,” Uwa said

He added, “I paid this guy $60, 000 to perform on this show. I went down on my knees. I was like ‘Bro, you are damaging me. I am trying to build my company here. You are going to damage me’. I begged this guy ‘Save my career, save me’.”
