Ghanaian TikTok star Biggest Abena” allegedly killed by boyfriend after attempt to end relationship

A Ghanaian TikTok content creator “Biggest Abena” has reportedly been killed by her boyfriend, identified as 27-year-old Sylvester Sowah, at Obuasi Abompe New Site in the Adansi districton on November 19, 2025.

According to preliminary information gathered by local authorities, the tragic incident occurred during a confrontation between the couple. Sources indicate that Abena had informed Sylvester of her intention to end their relationship, reportedly due to concerns about his alleged substance abuse.

What began as a conversation is said to have escalated into a violent altercation, resulting in Abena’s death. Community members who knew the couple say the relationship had recently become strained, with several disputes allegedly linked to Sylvester’s behaviour.

Police officers from the area responded to the scene shortly after the incident was reported. The suspect, Sylvester Sowah, was taken into custody and is currently assisting investigators as they work to determine the exact sequence of events leading to the tragedy.

Authorities are expected to release more details as the investigation progresses. Meanwhile, news of Abena’s death has sparked shock and grief across social media, especially among her followers and fellow content creators who described her as vibrant, hardworking, and full of potential.

Family members and friends have called for a thorough investigation and justice for the young influencer, whose online presence had grown significantly over the past year.
