GHALCA chief Fianoo calls for support for indigenous coaches

Chairman for the Ghana League Club Association (GHALCA) Kudjoe Fianoo has called on Ghanaians clubs to have faith in local coaches.

Fianoo reiterated that, giving local coaches the opportunity is the best way to produce more coaches in Ghana.

He also called on clubs to allow them to operate free hands to operate.

“We should give local coaches the chance to operate. C K Akonnor is showing what local coaches can do.

“Management should give coaches free hands to operate and allow them to work.

“They shouldn’t be visiting training grounds anyhow. They can be visiting the training grounds once in a month or so,” he told Kessben FM.

Akonnor will be looking to qualify Asante Kotoko to the quarter finals of the CAF Confederation when they meet Al Hilal FC on Sunday.
