Foiled Robbery Operation Leaves Two Suspects Dead in Ashanti South

Authorities in the Ashanti South Region have successfully foiled a planned armed robbery operation, resulting in the deaths of two suspects and the seizure of weapons and a vehicle linked to the attempted crime.
According to the Ashanti South Regional Police Command, intelligence reports led officers to intercept the criminal gang before they could carry out their operation. During the confrontation, the suspects were neutralised, and police recovered firearms along with the vehicle intended for use in the robbery.
The police described the operation as a decisive move against violent crime, highlighting the importance of proactive intelligence and swift action in ensuring public safety. No civilians were reported injured during the incident.
