Firefighters Rescue Man Trapped Under Collapsed Building at Kasoa

A dramatic rescue unfolded at Kasoa when personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) saved a man who had been trapped under the rubble of a collapsed building.

Videos circulating on social media captured the tense moments as firefighters worked tirelessly to free the victim. The rescue team could be seen using specialized tools and coordinated teamwork to pull the man from the debris before carrying him to safety.

Although the exact cause of the collapse is yet to be determined, eyewitnesses reported that the structure caved in suddenly while some workers were still inside. The incident has reignited public concern over building safety standards and construction supervision in fast-growing areas like Kasoa.

Officials from the GNFS and local authorities have launched an investigation to determine what led to the collapse and to assess whether the building met structural regulations.

The rescued man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, and his condition is currently unknown.
