Esteemed Book Titled “The Kingdom Of God” – The Ultimate Purpose Outdoored
The much awaited book titled “The Kingdom Of God” – The Ultimate Purpose authored by Hon. Rev. Dr. Nii Amoo Darku a former member of the council of state has finally been launched.
“The reason for the book is to understand the work of the church”
“It’s very important that everyone gets a copy (of the book) to understand what the church stands for and also be able identify when someone (pastor) is veering off the path” – Hon. Rev. Dr. Nii Amoo Darku said.
The event which brought together some renowned men of God took place at the Ghana Baptist Convention Head Office at Abelenkpe, a suburb of Accra on Saturday February 23.
Amongst the notable faces present at the event was chairman for the program Rev. Dr. Ernest Adu-Gyamfi, Bishop James Saah, Rev Enoch N.N Thompson and Most Rev. Prof. Emmanuel K. Asante.
A forum was held after the book was launched with reps from the Christian Council of Ghana, the Catholic Secretariat, Pentecostal church of Ghana, the Charismatic Council, National Association Of Charismatics and the Christian Council.
Speaking to the media, Hon. Rev. Dr. Nii Amoo Darku advised pastors across the country to live a ‘christ-like’ behaviour just as the word Christians suggests to show their true faith in God.
