Delta 3 granted bail
The Kumasi Circuit Court 3 has granted bail to three members of the pro-government vigilante group, Delta Force.
The suspects were arrested for chasing out the Member of Parliament for Tafo-Pankrono, Dr Anthony Akoto Osei and disrupting a meeting of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) a few weeks ago.
Paul Attah Onyinah, Jafer Saeed and Kwame Sariki have each been granted a GHS20,000 bail with a surety.
They will reappear before the court on 21 November 2018.
They are to report to the police every Monday.
Meanwhile, the court, presided over by Her Honour Lydia Osei Marfo, discharged Richard Yaw Brefo, one of the accused persons after the prosecutor, Philip B. Jagri told the sitting that the suspect was innocent of the incident because he was not around during the incident.
The accused persons have been charged with conspiracy to cause unlawful damage, causing unlawful damage and rioting.
