The dual milestone was commemorated on Saturday, December 20, 2025, with a well-attended silver jubilee ceremony that brought together traditional authorities, government officials, and key stakeholders in tourism and business.

Held under the theme “25 Years of Excellence and a New Dawn in Hospitality,” the event showcased the hotel’s transformation into a modern hospitality facility designed to meet evolving international standards.

The reopening signals a renewed investment in Kumasi’s growing tourism and business economy.

The occasion was elevated by the presence of a delegation of Amanhene and Mansihene representing His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, highlighting the cultural relevance of the hotel’s long-standing contribution to the city.

Several prominent personalities attended the event, including the Ashanti Regional Police Commander, DCOP Osei Akoto; the Ashanti Regional Director of Education, Dr. Amankwah; the Deputy Director of the Ghana Tourism Authority responsible for CSR and Industry Relations; representatives from T-TEL Ghana; and officials from state agencies and corporate institutions.

The Member of Parliament for Manhyia North, Hon. Akwasi Konadu, was also present.

Guests who toured the renovated facility praised the significant improvements, describing the new look as impressive and befitting a modern hospitality destination.

The refurbishment has enhanced the hotel’s accommodation, conferencing, and leisure offerings, positioning it to attract both domestic and international clients.

In an address to journalists, the Chief Executive Officer of the hotel, Ms. Rose Hamilton, said the reopening reflects the management’s commitment to innovation and excellence.

She noted that the upgraded services are expected to boost hospitality standards in Kumasi and support Ghana’s broader tourism agenda.

Ms. Hamilton further stressed the importance of continuous improvement in response to Ghana’s growing appeal to international travelers.

She outlined the hotel’s focus on quality service delivery, cultural integration, sustainability, and the strategic use of technology to enhance guest experiences.

The Crystal Rose Ambassador Hotel now features tastefully furnished rooms, state-of-the-art conference and meeting facilities, a well-stocked bar, and a curated restaurant, all within a serene and functional environment suitable for business, leisure, and social events.
