Self – glorified African Dancehall king born Charles Nii Armah Mensah but professionally identified as Shatta Wale has emerged as the victor for “BEST LOCAL ARTISTE” over the year(s) period (May 2019 – May 2020) according to Billboard’s latest compilation.
Internationally recognized U.S. based magazine and music charting entity (Billboard) bestowed unto Shatta Wale the No 1 spot with Sarkodie securing for himself the 2nd position and the Dancehall Sapashini (Stonebwoy) affixing himself to the 3rd position.
Streaming figures these artistes garnered from the video paying platform (YouTube) for the year(s) period May 2019 and May 2020 were used to tabulate these rankings.
Shatta Wale had accumulated a total of 13.2m engagements, with Sarkodie amassing a total of 11.8 million views and Stonebwoy assembling a total of 7.8 m streams hitherto this ranking.
