Bigo Live, one of the world’s fastest-growing social live-streaming platforms with more than 600 million registered users across over 150 countries, has announced the seventh edition of its flagship BIGO Awards Gala, scheduled to take place in Seoul in January 2026.
Themed “SEOUL LIGHTS, BIGO NIGHTS,” the highly anticipated ceremony will be held at KBS Hall on Friday, January 23, 2026, bringing together the platform’s global community to celebrate the creativity, passion, and achievements of content creators over the past year.
The theme captures the spirit of the event, symbolising how the energy and talent of Bigo Live’s creators will illuminate the vibrant city of Seoul. The Gala will honour outstanding creators and families, transforming the night into a shared celebration of creativity, connection, and unforgettable moments. Seoul was selected as the host city for its unique position at the crossroads of technology, culture, and innovation, mirroring Bigo Live’s diverse and globally connected ecosystem.
The star-studded event is expected to welcome more than 1,200 guests from around the world, including participants from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North and South America, and Africa. Festivities will begin with a public red-carpet showcase, offering fans and viewers an exciting preview of the night’s glamour and energy.

During the ceremony, over 200 content creators and families will be recognised for their exceptional contributions throughout the year. Award recipients will receive trophies and in-app rewards, while select honourees will also be featured on prominent digital billboards in Gangnam’s high-profile media district, extending their recognition beyond the platform.
The evening will be further elevated by a vibrant lineup of performances, including live music and band showcases by international artists. Special appearances by popular South Korean girl groups FIFTY FIFTY and tripleS are set to deliver an immersive entertainment experience where global creativity meets a shared rhythm.
Adding an element of surprise to the night, Bigo Live will also unveil an exclusive blind-box collection featuring its mascot, mini-Dinos, offering guests a fun and memorable highlight of the celebration.
For audiences around the world, the BIGO Awards Gala 2026 will be streamed live on Bigo Live’s Music Live House channel (Bigo ID: music) and via the official Bigo.tv website. Coverage will begin with the Red Carpet at 3:00 pm (GMT+9), followed by the Gala Ceremony at 7:00 pm (GMT+9).
Viewers tuning in live will also have the opportunity to vote for their favourite creators and families during the event, with three special audience-driven awards up for grabs: Most Popular Broadcaster, Most Popular Family, and Gala Star.
