Audio: Kintampo accident survivors share stories
Survivors of the gory accident that claimed over 60 lives have shared their near-death experiences on Adom News.
A young lady, who regained consciousness at the Kintampo Government Hospital, said she was saved by God.
“I believe I was saved by God because everyone around me died, but I managed to get out of the mangled car,” she added.
A head-on collision by two buses on the Kintampo-Techiman road killed over 60 passengers.
Police say the fatal accident happened around 2 am on Friday at a town called Ampoma in the Bono East Region.
Kintampo Divisional Police Commander, ACP Joseph Antwi Gyawu said preliminary investigations reveal the two buses, one with registration number GT 5694 18 and the other GT 3916 17, each had over 50 passengers on board.
