The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has released the complete list of towns, neighbourhoods, and communities that will experience temporary power outages during its planned maintenance works from Sunday, March 1 to Thursday, March 5, 2026. The maintenance exercise is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the national power distribution network, improve reliability, and prevent unplanned breakdowns.
ECG said customers in the listed areas should expect scheduled interruptions in electricity supply and plan accordingly to minimise inconvenience.
ECG apologised for the inconvenience the temporary outages may cause, noting that the planned interruptions are vital to ensuring the long-term stability and safety of power supply for all customers. Residents and businesses in the affected areas are advised to:
