The Eastern Vultures, a pro–New Patriotic Party (NPP) political group in the Eastern Region, have congratulated Mahamudu Bawumia on his decisive victory in the party’s recently concluded presidential elections.
The congratulatory message, signed by David Prah, Convener and Chairman of the Eastern Vultures, described the outcome as a clear endorsement of Dr. Bawumia’s leadership credentials, competence, and commitment to the core values and progressive ideals of the New Patriotic Party.
According to the group, the victory represents renewed confidence from party members and a fresh mandate for Dr. Bawumia to lead the NPP into a new phase of innovation, unity, and transformational governance.
The Eastern Vultures said the party is now strategically positioned to reorganise and mobilise ahead of the 2028 general elections, expressing optimism that Dr. Bawumia’s leadership will help the NPP reclaim political power. They cited sound economic management, digital transformation, inclusive development, and youth empowerment as key pillars of the party’s future agenda.
The group also congratulated all other aspirants who participated in the keenly contested race, including Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, Hon. Bryan Acheampong, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, and Engineer Kwabena Agyapong, commending them for their maturity, patriotism, and respect for party democracy.
They further praised the peaceful, free, and credible conduct of the elections, describing it as a reflection of the NPP’s strong internal democratic culture and the effective work of the Presidential Elections Committee.

The leadership and entire membership of the Eastern Vultures (Pro–New Patriotic Party Group in the Eastern Region) proudly and wholeheartedly extend our warmest congratulations to His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on his emphatic and well-deserved victory in the just ended NPP Presidential Elections.
This victory is a collective affirmation of the confidence reposed in Dr. Bawumia’s visionary leadership, sterling competence, and commitment to the values and progressive ideals of the New Patriotic Party. It represents a reinvigorated mandate from the rank and file of our party to lead the NPP into a new era of hope, innovation, and transformational governance.
As a formidable and disciplined political force, the NPP now stands united, hopeful, re-energised, and strategically positioned to reclaim political power from the incompetent NDC administration in the 2028 general elections.
