Akosua Serwaa Takes Fosu Family Head, Odo Broni, to Court

Akosua Serwaa, the wife of Ghanaian highlife legend Daddy Lumba, has reportedly taken legal action against the head of the Fosu family, known as Odo Broni.

According to reports, Akosua Serwaa’s decision to seek legal redress stems from ongoing disagreements surrounding the estate and family matters following the death of her husband. The dispute is said to involve property and inheritance issues, which have reportedly caused tensions between the widow and members of the Fosu family.

The case, which has attracted public attention, is currently before the courts. Sources close to both parties have indicated that Akosua Serwaa is determined to protect her late husband’s legacy and ensure that his family’s interests are properly represented.

Odo Broni, on the other hand, is said to be maintaining his stance as the rightful head of the Fosu family, claiming that all decisions made were within his authority and in accordance with family traditions.

The court proceedings are expected to shed more light on the matter as both sides present their arguments in the coming weeks.

This legal tussle adds to the growing list of estate-related disputes involving the families of prominent Ghanaian entertainers, a situation that continues to raise conversations about wills, inheritance laws, and family rights in Ghana.
