Staff and students of Achimota Senior High School have been thrown into a state of shock and mourning after a teacher allegedly committed suicide on campus.
The deceased, a 48-years-old Physics Teacher, Clifford Nkrumah was found hanging on a rope in his bungalow on Thursday.
It is unclear what pushed him to take his life.
The Public Relations Officer of the Greater Accra Regional Police Command, DSP Juliana Obeng who confirmed the incident to Kasapa News said the deceased left behind a written note, contents of which the police will not make public for now.
Police Crime Scene experts after picking up information at the scene, subsequently conveyed the body to the Police Hospital morgue while investigation continues.
