Asutifi South Member of Parliament, Collins Dauda, says he is unfazed by what he suspects to be targeted harassment by the Police Administration.
He said he has always suffered such mistreatment since the Inspector-General of Police, David Asante Appeatu, was put in charge of the Criminal Investigations Department during President Kufuor’s regime.
He, however, stopped short of concluding that the IGP is pursuing a personal agenda against him.
Alhaji Dauda spoke on Nhyira FM’s ‘Kro yi mu Nsem’ on the recent siege on his house by armed police personnel pupating to arrest him.
Alhaji Dauda expressed surprise he got to the police quarters only to realize he was being pursued over a fight between two adults who had a misunderstanding during the limited voter registration.
He said he doesn’t understand why those who were involved in the fight were not arrested instead.
