Ex-serviceman burnt to death in gas explosion

A 66-year-old ex-Serviceman indentified as Theodore Obimpeh has been burnt to ashes at Comet, a community near Aburi in the Akuapem South Municipality of the Eastern Region after a domestic gas cylinder explosion.

The gas cylinder which was reportedly leaking caught fire and exploded burning the ex-soldier and other properties in the house.

The charred body has been deposited at the Police Hospital .

The District Chief Executive for Akuapem South , Frank Aidoo , confirmed the incident to starr News noting nvestigators have been dispatched to the scene to investigate the exact cause of the fatal incident.
