District Chief Executive Officer for Afigya Kwabre South Hon Christian Adu Poku has been decorated as Development Chief for Mpobi Zongo community.
His elevation to the foregoing dignified traditional position happened when Muslims of Mpobi were celebrating  the just ended Islamic festivity.
The tittle was conferred on him by zongo traditional leaders of the area as an acknowledgement of his immense developmental support for the community.
Addressing the gathering, Hon Christian Adu-Poku assured that he will continue to support the community with the needed developmental projects to make living comfortable in the area.
He promised to make sure that they received the necessary development and even more, adding further that Zongo communities within Afigya Kwabre South will not be left out in the sharing of the national cake since they voted massively for NPP during the 2016 general elections.
“For the first time in the history of elections since 1992, you voted massively for Nana Addo and NPP. We will cement this bond and make sure you get all the necessary development and even more.” he promised.
President Akuffo he reminded is committed towards the well-being of Zongo communities hence the creation of a whole ministry to see to their development.
All promises made by President Akuffo Addo  he assured will be fulfilled.
