World leaders have taken to social media to mourn the late UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
Mr Annan died in Berne, Switzerland, on Saturday, 18 August 2018 after a short illness.
He was 80.

The world has lost a great leader today. Kofi initiated the Millenium Development Goals. He did everything possible to prevent the Iraq War. He spoke for our common humanity.
