‘Nonsense’ women empowerment should focus on proper girl child education – Lutterodt

Controversial Ghanaian Counsellor George Lutterodt has called for a redefinition to the women empowerment movement peddled across the country because it’s massively driving in unfounded results.

According to the relationship adviser, the youth of today are being derailed from cultural courtesy due to their exposure to the hands-on technology available to them, a situation he believes has contributed to the high rise in recording of sexual escapades among the youth in recent times.

Counsellor Lutetrodt has, therefore, charged women activists to step up their campaign and educate young women on how to act towards sex-related matters.

“With this women empowerment nonsense going, they should rather rise up and begin to educate the girl child properly. It is not about going to school, it’s about making them know the value of their private parts,” he stated in an exclusive interview with GhanaWeb.

His comment follows a viral video that captured a lady offering oral sex to two men which apparently surfaced on the Snapchat platform of Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.

Counsellor Lutterodt who joined the fray to chastise the musician for the indecent exposure on social media also called for the head of the lady involved.

In his view, the young lady alleged to be a friend of Shatta Michy and a member of Shatta Movement lacks self-respect and in effect is a shame to womanhood.

“If you are a woman who has respect and dignity and you are well trained from a proper home, you will never open yourself to any kind of camera while doing any sexual activity… the lady in the picture should be a lesson to women” he advised.

Although the faces of the men in the video were concealed, a section of the public who took a critical glance at the video alleged that Shatta Wale was involved in the said video.

However, George Lutterodt thinks the lady whose face was exposed should rather render an apology to the Ghanaian public especially her fellow women.

He argued that the nakedness of a man is not highly demeaning as compared to that of the opposite sex, therefore the need for remorse.”
